Training Plans Store
For athletes that would like some assistance with their training but do not want to hire a coach.
Ten Weeks to a Century
The Ten Weeks to a Century is a fast-paced training plan designed for someone who has ridden a century in the past. This training plan increases mileage weekly with four training days a week. I have designed the training based on time or mileage. One of the purposes of training is getting your body used to sitting in the saddle for the length of the ride. Anyone can sit in the saddle for one hour but sit for six+ hours is totally different, your whole body will start to fatigue, you will start spinning slower and you will be uncomfortable. You must train your body to complete the 100 miles.
Three Months to a Century
3 Months to a Century is a nice amount of time to train for a century, not too short and not too long. This training plan is for the beginner cyclists. I will include a "Things to Know" list which gives you tidbits of information every cyclist should know. You will train 3 to 4 days a week with your longest ride on Saturday. As with any training plan be consistent with your training, try not to miss a training day and you will finish with a smile on your face.
Four Months to a Century
Four Months to a Century is a training schedule for a new athlete, who wants to complete their first century. The athlete will be training 3 to 4 days a week with intervals starting in the 3rd & 4th month. Every week will include a long day, scheduled for Saturday. When purchasing this schedule you will receive the monthly to-do's and information to make your training smoother.
