My passion is helping people of all ages and ability levels to achieve their cycling goals.
As a USACycling Level 1 coach, I’ve worked with athletes from the USA, Canada, Australia, South America and South Africa who have different talents, abilities, and goals. I stay current with new theories in coaching endurance athletes, sprint athletes and the use of software such as WKO4 to help cyclists evaluate fitness and increase power.
From 2014 to 2016, the juniors I coached went to Nationals and all made it to the podium. One was crowned National Champion and went on to be part of the World team.
As the mother of two children who raced, I have a special place in my heart for the junior athletes. My son became both Jr. and Under 23 National Champion, a member of the national team and trained for 2012 Olympics. My daughter won multiple elite National titles, won silver at the Pan Am Games, was on the national team and was on the long list for 2012 Olympics.
I coach masters who race road and each has their own separate goals – top 5, win Senior games, win at Master roads nationals or Master track nationals. I also coach masters that do not compete in USAC races, but compete against themselves or their friends. For them, it is racing 3 Peaks in Australia (143 miles with 3 mountain passes) or to race their friends on Cen Cols in France.
